How are oil prices effecting the housing market in The Woodlands?

February sales surge upward overshadowing last February’s total by 6.8%.  Last February oil was over $100 a barrel.

Bottom line: Buyer activity is brisk and will accelerate into summer. Inventory/selection is great for buyers. Sellers face more competition and while prices are not falling, they are not climbing like they did in 2013 and 2014. The least expensive home for sale in The Woodlands is $150,000, the most expensive, $16,000,000.
