Using Facebook Is Wise and Fun – Work and Play Safe – Here’s 10 Privacy Settings Every Facebook User Should Know

by Ken Brand on December 16, 2009

I’m a huge Facebook fan.  I have both a Facebook Page and a Business Page.  It’s a powerful tool for business and a cool toy for staying in touch with friends and family

Recently, Facebook announced a change in Privacy Settings.  Facebook is now allowing Status Updates, and other information, to be indexed by Google and others.  This means that if you do nothing and use the new default settings, your Facebook information will show up in an Internet search.

This isn’t necessarily a bad thing.  Personally, I’m comfortable with allowing Google and others to index my information, it makes me more findable, which is important to a real estate agent.

Having said that, you may feel differently.  If so, you’ll want to learn how to adjust your Privacy Settings.

You can read about HERE or browse below.

Cheers.
