1st meeting notes.

Disclaimer:  I’m gonna write fast, like I talk.  The grammar and spelling will probably be atrocious.  My apologies.

Here’s what we’re going to cover in no particular order.

Talk about a meeting schedule.  I’m thinking morning meetings are best.  Maybe every 2 weeks, this will give everyone time to study, claw up the learning curve, use the tools and prepare for sharing (voluntary).

I’d like to have each Master Mind member participate in sharing what they’ve learned and how they use their chosen Social Media tool (voluntary).

Today, I’ll share an overview; how I think  Social Media and the connectedness can fast-forward a savvy agent ahead of the masses. I’ll also give a guided tour of the sites listed below.

General Talking Points:

People do business with, recommend and refer real estate agents they know, like and trust – How Social Media can radioactivate your attractiveness.

Buyers and sellers have 100’s of real estate agents to choose from and will usually only contact 1 or 2 agents, how can we Social Media to amplify our Top Of Mind Awareness? The three R’s – Repetition, Relevance and Remarkability.

Brand Management – What’s shared on the internet lives forever.

In the weeks to come, we’ll get into the specifics of how to point, shine and broadcast these tools – all designed to help us develop better relationships, share our knowledge and create positive Top Of Mind Awareness.

Please set up accounts and personal profiles at the following sites:

Youtube.com

Facebook.com

LinkedIn.com

Twitter.com

Flickr.com

Google Gmail Account

Set Up Your Google Profile

Set Up A Feedreader Account at NewsGator.com

Tips:

When possible, use your  own name as the User Name – this will make it easier for people to find you on the web.  For example: http://www.Twitter.com/KenBrand

Use the same pass-code for all these accounts.  This way you won’t have to remember 10 different pass-codes.  Yes, I know, this isn’t the most secure way…but these aren’t your bank accounts.

Somewhere handy, right down all your websites and your log-in info for each.

Setting Up Your Profile

All these sights allow you to complete profile pages.  Most of these profile pages are indexed by search engines, the more information you provide the more juicy your internet presence will be and the easier it will be for people to find you.  Also, people like to do business with people they know and trust.  Your information will help them to get to know you – yea!

Be candid and speak in your own voice.  Splash your personality across the pages.  The last thing you want to do is write your bio like a stuffy uptight business person would.  Keep it professional, fun, informative and surprising.

Always upload your picture.

Thanks.

Share and Enjoy. Thanks:
