MORE THAN 520 FAMILIES HAVE PURCHASED NEW HOMES IN CREEKSIDE PARK – More than 520 families have purchased new homes in The Woodlands’ ninth and newest village, Creekside Park, and are enjoying the area’s many parks and amenities. Designed with an emphasis on outdoor recreation and communing with nature, the new village includes 1,850 areas of parklands encompassing the 1,700-acre George Mitchell Nature Preserve, 20-acre Rob Fleming Parkand 72-acre Lake Paloma, along with many other neighborhoods parks, trails and greenspaces.

The award-winning George Mitchell Nature Preserve features seven miles of frontage along Spring Creek, and currently offers two trailheads leading to more than four miles of soft surface trails for hiking and birding, as well as an off-road trail for mountain biking. There’s also a kayak/canoe launch that leads to a pastoral oxbow near Spring Creek. The Preserve is part of the Spring Creek Greenway Project, a joint initiative of Harris and Montgomery Counties linking 33 miles of frontage along Spring Creek from US 59 to Spring.

Rob Fleming Park (pictured top) features a Craftsman-style lodge designed for outdoor performances, a one-acre pond and picnic area, a festival field, playground andBluebonnet Meadow that is awash with color in early spring.   • A total of 62 families have purchased new homes in the new 400-acre neighborhood of May Valley in the Village of Sterling Ridge. Nine model homes are now open and homes are priced from the $150,000’s to the mid-$500’s.
