  • Both the Boy’s and Girl’s Cross Country teams from The Woodlands High School won the Class 5A State Championship. Way to go, Highlanders! (Look for the complete story on this great win in the next issue of Real Estate Report.)
  • PNC Financial Services in Pittsburgh recently announced its annual Christmas Price Index of the items in the song “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. As usual, the price has gone up – the complete set of 12 costs $26,260 this year, with the main culprit in the upswing being those seven swans a-swimming. They’re up a honking 33.3 per cent due to their scarcity!
  • According to The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau, more than 15,000 people attended the Lighting of the Doves and iWOW (International Winter on The Waterway) on November 22 in Town Center. The annual events herald the holiday season, and feature the illumination of all the lights and lighted displays along The Woodlands Waterway®, Santa’s arrival, and a snow hill, along with an international festival of music, entertainment and food from many different countries
